RIP: Lira’s mom passes away.

Multi-award-winning musician Lerato ‘Lira’ Molapo shared the news of her mother, Buyi Radebe’s passing on social media this week.

Talented musician Lerato Molapo who is famously known as Lira has announced that her mother has died.

The afro pop singer Lira took to her social media pages on Saturday, 23 to share the news of her mom, Buyi Radebe’s passing.

Molapo also confirmed that her mother passed away on Wednesday, 20 November by posting her birthdate and death date: “7 March 1956 to 20 November 2024.”

The musician’s mother passes away less than two years after surviving cancer.
