Minister Mchunu disappointed in the corruption ongoing within the police services

In a press statement Minister Mchunu expressed how disappointed he was on SAPS officers who abuse their authority for their own gain.

He also commended Captain Mabunda and his team for investigating the matter leading to the arrest of a sergeant who is involved in the murder of six victims.

The 43year old police is said to have killed 6people for R10million in insurance payouts.

This money was then used to buy two Range Rovers SUVs, a Toyota Land Cruiser, a BMW 3series and a Mercedes Benz C- class vehicle. All these were bought cash.

Mchunu said no crime will go unpunished “Any police officer found to be involved in crime will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
