Local sneaker brand, Drip Footwear established in 2019 by Lekau Sehoana is facing liquidation following an order from the High Court in Johannesburg after the company reportedly failed to pay R20 million for advertising services.

Despite this, DJ Black Coffee took to his X account and said, “I’m extremely proud of everything you have achieved brother @lekausehoana, your story has inspired a lot of young entrepreneurs to start. The sky is the limit.” The liquidation order resulted in employees being laid off.

It is alleged that Sehoana informed his employees of the termination of their employment on the 7th of October 2024 after months of unstable payment of their salaries.
