Reverend Frank Chikane Pays Tribute To the late Pravin Gordhan

Reverend Frank Chikane has paid tribute to former Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan who passed away on Friday 13 September 2024 at a hospital surrounded by family and close friends.

The Reverend said that it was a great loss. “I’ve known Comrade Gordhan for a long time and actually my first encounter with him was in the struggle for liberation and we ended up in government,” he said.

Chikane reveal2how he stayed in Gordhan’s father’s place and how they worked together till South Africa got its independence. He said that Gordhan’s life was a life well lived and he had completed his task.
