Nefisa Mkhabela is a South African actress best known for playing the role of Ona Molapo on House of Zwide. She was born on 5 April 2001 in Soweto. She went to Greenside High School in Randburg. She made her acting debut in the recurring role of Mbali on Unmarried, first appearing on the series premiere on 2 February 2018. She reprised her role in Season 2.
In 2021, she had a leading role in the movie Ispaza Sasekhaya. Later that year she landed her first starring role in television as Ona. She was also cast in Kagiso Modupe’s Losing Lerato 2.
Not much is known about her parents but she has a sister called Kedebone Mkhabela. Nefisa bought her first car at 20 and built her mom a house at 19. She won an award for Best Newcomer at the 7th Royalty Soapie Awards.
