South African teenage sprinter Bayanda Walaza has won the 100m at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in Peru. Walaza (18) stopped the clock at 10,19 seconds. Following him was a sprinter from Thailand, Pooripol Boonson finishing at 10,22 seconds and Bradley Nkoana at 10,26 seconds.
