South African kwaito legend Bonginkosi Dlamini also known as Zola 7 iw topping the charts after performing Ghetto Scandalous. The song features Amu, Skwata Kamp and Mr Selwyn. This happened at the Hennessey Back To the City Festival.
To note, Zola recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of his Bhambatha album. The album was released by Zola 7 as an artist under the record label Ghetto Ruff on the 18th of June in 2004.
The album consists of 19 songs that made him a household name, Don’t Cry, Bhambatha and Ehlale Zola to mention a few. After his performance, some took to X saying that they would always love him.
An X user wrote, “The one guy we love, the one guy we’ll always love.” Another critisized another for saying that South Africa owes Zola 7. The user asked what Zola is owed, adding that he had a tv show where he got paid.
