Former Western Cape Judge John Mandlakayise Hlophe has been appointed the parliamentary Chief whip of the MK party. Although the party hasn’t confirmed that Hlophe has been assigned a key role, a document allegedly reveals this. Hlophe was one of the most respected judges in South Africa.

He was booted out from the bench. He was barred drom accessing hia retirement package too. His woes started in 2008 when two judges of the Constitutional Court filed a complaint of judicial misconduct against him. They accused him if having unduly sought to influence a court matter relating to corruption charges against Zuma.
