In a first ever exclusive interview business tycoon and father of the late Anele Tembe, Moses Tembe has spoken out about his relationship with his son in law Kiernan Forbes also known as AKA.
He spoke to SABC news reporter, Chriselda Lewis, three years after his daughter’s death. Anele fell to her death from the 10th floor of a Cape Town hotel in April 2021. Moses Tembe told the reporter that AKA was part of their family as they had accepted him as pary of the family.
He said that AKA never put a foot wrong in front of him and he gave him the benefit of the doubt right uo to the last day. Moses said that he loved AKA so much.
He also added that although they have tried to remain objective as a family, they wanted to hear AKA’s version of events hence the inquest into Anele’s death.
In June 2022, the NPA decided not to prosecute anyone but after AKA’s death, a decision was taken to refer the matter to the Inquest court.
