Broke Walter Mokoena fails to pay employees

Sunday world reports that former sports presenter, Walter Mokoena, has been failing to pay his employees at his online newspaper the Joburg Post for months.

The newspaper reports that Mokoena’s employees have now taken him to court, but this has not helped the situation.

Employees told the newspaper that Mokoena started experiencing financial challenges when his marriage to Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Nosizwe Vuso, ended.

Mokena was also fired as the special advisor to former Sports Minister, Nathi Mthethwa.

To worsen the situation, Mokoena’s online app, MySportsBook, has failed to gain traction.
