Comedian and former US talk show host Trevor Noah has dismissed claims that he was getting paid R33 million to market South Africa.
The comedian was talking on Radio 702 when he poured cold water over claims that government will pay him millions in taxpayers’ money to promote brand South Africa.
Trevor Noah added that he was not working with the Tourism Ministry in marketing the country.
He said he was approached by private hotels and Airbnbs to work with them in promoting tourism in the country post Covid-19.
