Nelson Mandela’s granddaughter, Zoleka Mandela (43), has revealed that she is living in the last days of cancer. She has already discussed with her family what she wants to happen to her children and how she wants to be cared for in her last days.
She has started documenting her last days on YouTube channel, Zoleka Mandela – Terminally Free.
Zoleka told You Magazine that the cancer has spread to her bone, brain, liver, lungs and pelvis.
She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, then in 2016. The current cancer diagnosis was revealed to Zoleka by doctors in August 2022.
Zoleka told the magazine that she was a recovering addict who has in the past abused alcohol, drugs and sex, until she found healthy ways of dealing with her pain – such as hand painting.
