Advocate Malesela Teffo Arrested for Fraud and Assult

Advocate Malesela Teffo was reportedly arrested for fraud. Other charges include trespassing, assult and malicious damage to property.

Teffo was the defense lawyer in the ongoing Senzo Meyiwa murder trial. He represented four of the five accused in the Senzo Meyiwa case.

He stepped away from the case as he was constantly at loggerheads with Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela.

The advocate is expected to appear before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on 3 August 2023.
