In 2020, a group of girl friends went viral on social media when they joined the Stocko challenge.

The girls made the video while celebrating their friend’s birthday. They ended up being nicknamed the “Stocko Girls”.

The girls became a sensation within a short period of time. They were booked at some of the events that took place in South Africa that year.

Unfortunately their fame was short-lived and they disappeared from the media. The challenge was made from Mapara A Jazz’s song called John Vuli Gate.

Entertainment commentator and television host Kgopolo Phil Mphela revealed that the girls did not make any relevant income from their fame.
