South African award-winning Olympic runner Caster Semenya won her case against Switzerland at the European Court of Human Rights.
The court ruled that Semenya was a victim of discrimination.
Semenya had appealed against field and track regulations that forced female athletes to artificially reduce high testosterone levels in order to complete.
She took to her Instagram page to celebrate the victory. Below is a statement she shared.
