Kenny Kunene Impounds Zimbabwean Cross Border Buses at Powerhouse, Johannesburg

Kenny Kunene who is the MMC for Transport in the City of Johannesburg vowed to deal with Zimbabwean cross border bus operators who were using Powerhouse as a rank.

Kunene instructed the buses to move back to Park station. Atleast four buses were impounded as part of a clamp down on illegal foreigners.

The rank is believed to be owned by a Zimbabwean property tycoon who is based in diaspora. Gayton McKenzie celebrated Kunene’s efforts on Twitter.
