Dr Nandipha & Bester To remain In Prison, Case Postponed to August

Convicted murderer and r_apist Thabo Bester and his girlfriend Dr Nandipha Magudumana will have to remain behind bars until August.

Thabo Bester appeared virtually before the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s court. He is being detained at Kgosi Mampuru II prison.

Magudumana and the seven other accused who include members of the G4S appeared physically in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s court.

The matter was postponed to August 2023.

Their charges include assisting a convicted r_apist and murderer to escape from Mangaung Maximum prison last year by staging a fake suicide.

They also face charges of fraud, defeating the ends of justice and tempering with a corpse.
