Reeva Steenkamp’s mother June wants Oscar Pistorius to remain in Jail.
The athlete might be released from prison on parole this week if the hearing goes in his favour. Pistorius is appearing before the parole board today for his appeal.
Oscar Pistorius was imprisoned in 2014 after he was found guilty of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s day in 2013.
Pistorius fired atleast four shots through the bathroom door and killed Steenkamp. The judge sentenced him to 13 years in prison.
The athlete has served half of his sentence thus making him eligible for parole.
