Caster Semenya Speaks on Why She Should Play Cricket

Caster Semenya is a two-time Olympic Women’s 800m champion.

The athlete revealed that she she grew up doing multiple sporting activities that include playing softball and baseball.

She said she can be a cricketer as she is good in batting and bowling.

Semenya faced many hurdles as an athlete as she was subjected to many tests in order to prove herself.

The athelete was recently chosen by the International Cricket Council as one of the ambassadors of the Women’s T20 World Cup that will be hosted in South Africa this month.

Semenya said as an ambassador, it’s all about motivating and empowering other women in different sports that they can also be a Caster Semenya.
