Former State Security Agency boss Arthur Fraser has opened new charges in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala Farm saga.
In his recent affidavit he accused President’s advisor Benjamin Chauke of being complicit in the alleged Phala Phala crimes.
Fraser advised the police to investigate Chauke’s international travel records.
He said the records will reveal that he had US currency after travelling to North African and Middle Eastern countries on Ramaphosa’s behalf.
In addition Fraser said Chauke was helping Ramaphosa in moving the foreign currency that was found jn couches at the Phala Phala Farm.
He also urged the police to investigate Chauke’s phone records and vehicle tracking devices.
Atleast US$4 million was stolen while concealed in couches and mattresses at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala Farm two years ago.
The President denied any wrong doing saying the money was proceeds from selling cattle and animals at his farm.
