Today President Cyril Ramaphosa handed over the certificate of recognition to King Misuzulu KaZwelithini as the Zulu King.
The coronation ceremony was held at Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.
The King was accompanied by his first wife Queen Ntokozo KaMayisela. His second wife Queen Nozizwe Mulela was not in attendance.
A few weeks ago, ILanga broke news that King Misuzulu KaZwelithini was calling it quits with his second wife Queen Nozizwe Mulela.
It was revealed that the Queen wanted to control the King, thus he wanted her gone from the royal palace.
On the other hand it was revealed that the Queen was threatening to expose King Misuzulu KaZwelithini’s dirty secrets.
The Queen allegedly attended the Umkhosi WeLembe forcefully because she was not supposed to be at the event.
Other leaders who attended the coronation include, King Mswati III of Eswatini.
Former Presidents Jacob Zuma and Thabo Mbeki, Zulu Traditional Prime Minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi and many others also attended.
