One Dead, Another Wounded in Gang Violence, Westbury in Joburg

Atleast two people were shot in a suspected  gang related violence in Westbury, Johannesburg.

The incident happened on Tuesday morning. One person was declared dead on arrival at a health care facility while the other who got wounded remains in hospital.

The police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo confirmed the incident.

The incident happened at around 5pm when four suspects jumped out of a car and fired the shots. The news was reported by news24.
