South African award winning singers The Qwabe twins have received praise from their fans across the country.
This after they announced their participation at the Reed dance ceremony which was held at King Misuzulu KaZwelithini’s Palace in the Northern KwaZuluNatal.
The Reed dance ceremony known as Umkhosi Womhlanga in Zulu tradition celebrates the purity of a girl while preparing her for womanhood.
The ceremony seeks to promote celibacy until marriage. Fans praised the two sisters for participating.

Thousands of maidens showed up for the event which was organised by the Zulu Royal family and the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial government.
