Vuyokazi Ndevu, Wife of eNyobeni Tavern Owner Released from Custody

Vuyokazi Ndevu, the wife of eNyobeni tavern owner Siyakhangela Ndevu has been released in the East London Magistrate’s court.

The case has been postponed to 5 October for the state to hand over documents to the defence.

Both of them appeared in the court facing charges of allowing underage patrons into their establishment and also selling alcohol to underage patrons.

Atleast 21 teenagers died at Enyobeni Tavern in Scenery Park, East London more than two months ago.
