Malema Calls for a National Shutdown over Eskom, Phala Phala

The President of Economic Freedom Fighters Julius Malema has promised a national shutdown of all South African services.

He said President Cyril Ramaphosa must answer to questions relating to the CR17 bank statements and the Phala Phala Farm saga.

In addition to the above Malema wants the President to answer questions regarding the suspension of Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane.

Malema said deputy President David Mabuza must start warming up so that he will take over as President.

Regarding Eskom, Malema said they will occupy the Eskom offices until the board resigns and a new board is named.

He said the shutdown will cover the whole of South Africa and that all offices and institutions will be closed.
