The funeral service of the three Khoabane brothers who drank poisoned energy drinks took place today, Saturday the 4th of June 2022.
The funeral service was held in Ratanda, Heidelburg. Gauteng police opened a case of murder and attempted murder following the death of the three brothers.
Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi was among the attendees. The fourth brother who also drank the spiked drink is fighting for his life in hospital.
Their father allegedly poisoned them before going to school. Two brothers Lehlohonolo,16, and Katlego, 13, passed away at Khanyalesedi Secondary school.
Tebogo who was 6 years old died at the doctor’s room after being taken there by a teacher. Their 8 year old brother survived after refusing to take the drink.
May their souls rest in eternal peace.
