Mmusi Maimane is a politician who was the leader of the opposition of the Republic of South Africa from 2014 to 2019.
The 41 year year old former Democratic Alliance leader grew up in Soweto and is married to Natalie Maimane.
Maimane revealed during Podcast and Chill with MacG that they have been married for 16 years. The two met at Church and they started dating, they have three children together.
Maimane took over from Hellen Zille as leader of DA. He said since he worked with Zille she said some things that are deemed as racist.
He also said Zille made some statements that were hurtful and discriminatory to Black people.
The politician is now the leader of One South Movement. Maimane said his goal is to serve and build a country that serves a purpose for everybody.
He mentioned that corruption in South Africa is undermining the dignity of ordinary citizens who can’t afford basics such as proper toilets.
Maimane blasted the leader of Operation Dudula, Nhlanhla Lux and how the operations are being conducted.
He said his problem with Operation Dudula is that it’s hating on fellow Africans. He also pointed the blame of corruption and unemployment to ANC’s incompetence.
If he becomes leader of South Africa, Maimane said he would change the education system and the economic structures of the country so thay many people will get jobs.
