Daily Sun reports that Hillary Gardee’s 28 year old boyfriend Muxe Zitha was arrested and assaulted by the police.
Zitha confirmed to the publication that he was wrongfully arrested. The Police have so far arrested three suspects in connection with the murder.
Muxe said the police in Nelspruit called him on 4 May and asked him to meet at a cop shop. He was later told to to come at Hazyview Police station.
On arrival Muxe was cuffed, his cellphone and business laptop was confiscated before he was shoved into a VW Polo.

Muxe was driven to the Nelspruit cop shop where he met a group of policemen who allegedly started bashing him and forced him to confess.
