Themba Njilo is the founder of the Themba Njilo Foundation, and Indunduzo Funeral Services which was founded in early 1998.
He is married to Thembekile Njilo, he was born in Vulindlela and was elected as the ANC, Msunduzi Mayor in 2016.
He has built houses and offered bursaries for the poor in his community. He held the position until he stepped down in 2019.
He also stepped down from business and appointed his son Phumulani Njilo as CEO of the family’s businesses.

His other son Nzuzo Njilo is a businessman who owns several businesses including a trucking company. He recently got married to Faith Nketsi.
