Tito Mboweni Appointed Chairman of Accelerate Property Fund

Former South African Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni was appointed the Chairman of the Accelerate Property Fund.

Accelerate is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and it owns 50% stake of Fourways Mall. It also has properties in Johannesburg and CapeTown.

Before being appointed as the Finance Minister Mboweni was serving as the Chairperson of Accelerate.

Mboweni’s appointment came after the retirement of Timothy Fearnhead. Mboweni accepted the offer after his resignation from Parliament last week.
