Former Public Protector Professor Thuli Madonsela has been criticised for making an error about her birthday. Below is what she posted on her social media platforms.

Thuli Madonsela is a South African advocate and Professor of law. She served as the Public Protector of South Africa from 19 October 2009 to 14 October 2016.

She was born on 28 September in 1962 therefore she recently turned 59 years old. Madonsela wrote that it was her 60th decade while celebrating the day.

A lot of people quickly noticed the mistake she made and they started attacking her for making such a mistake when she is a Professor.
