Former Muvhango actress Mona Monyane lost her newborn baby in 2017 and in 2019 her home was lost to fire. She also separated from her husband actor Khulu Skenjane in 2020.
The actress revealed that the events that unfolded in her life led to depression. Mona said she lost herself for a long time.
Mona said she is now reclaiming her life because God had restored her. The actress who moved to Cape Town to start a new life said she was in the city to start businesses.
The actress who has been through hell and back said she has found purpose in her life and is looking forward to to rebuilding her life back.
Mona added that she is now a new person, who is happy and has found God. She revealed that she is still in contact with her ex-husband as they are co-parents to their surviving daughter.
She concluded by saying she wanted to talk to other women about the power of healing. Mona said she publicly shares her struggles in order to give other women hope.
