Congratulations to singer Kelly Khumalo whose reality show ‘Life with Kelly’ has been nominated for a South African Film and Television award.
The category it is in the run for is the Best Structured Soapie Reality show. The reality show centres on the singer as she navigates her career as a singer and as a single mother to two young children.
It also gives her a chance to tell her side of the story when it comes to her turbulent relationship with Jub Jub who is her son’s father and rumours surrounding Senzo Meyiwa who is her daughter’s father.
The other nominees are Lebo M, Coming Home and Somizi and Mohale, The Union. Entertainment commentator Kgopolo Phil Mphela shared the news on his Twitter page.
The Ranakas however were not part of the nomininees and this angered many including Phil Mphela.
