Popular Botswana rapper, Sasa Klaas (Sarona Motlagodi), who passed away last week on Friday 5 March in a helicopter crash, will be buried on Friday 12 March , according to a statement put out by the family.
Writing on Facebook, the family said:
It is with a heavy heart that we find ourselves sharing the news of the passing of our beloved Sarona Motlhagodi popularly known as Sasa Klaas.
We plead with the public to allow us: the family to grieve privately though it may be difficult as Sasa was loved by many. We have opened our family home on a drive-through basis for anyone that wishes to leave a message or flowers as we are limited by COVID-19 protocols to accommodate all of You at once.
Sasa will be laid to rest on Friday 12 March at Phomolong Cemetery in Phakalane and we will continue to air all proceedings “live” for the benefit of all those looking forward to pay their last respects.
We thank You for Your continued thoughts and PRAYERS during this difficult time.
May the soul of Sarona “Sasa Klaas” Motlhagodi rest while we all find comfort in The LORD.
