Jacob Mnisi who is the ex husband of the late Kwaito queen Nomasonto Mshoza Maswanganyi has ventured into boxing.
Mnisi revealed that J4Joy will host 16 boxers for the world class professional boxing tournament on the 26th of March at Sandton Convention Centre.
The bouts will include the National Lightweight 12 round title fight between champion Tshifhiwa Munyai and challenger Khaya Busakwe.
Mnisi said his company was thriving to create content for SABC claiming that the broadcaster stopped showcasing boxing matches due to lack of consistent boxing bills.
The businessman who decided to venture into boxing as a promoter will work in partnership with Boxing South Africa and World Boxing Association.
Mnisi said boxers only get paid when they fight thus the tournament will help them make an income and uplift their livelihoods.
