The Real Housewives franchise is fast expanding in South Africa and Durban is the next city to show us what they are made of following the success of the Real Housewives of Johannesburg.
Viewers will witness the sassiness of the Real Housewives of Durban in late January. The international franchise has just added Durban to their list of cities and it boasts a stellar cast of very interesting ladies.
1Magic described the ladies as sassy, spicy and salty. According to the channel’s website the ladies will and always invite viewers to lavish lifestyle where they will flaunt their expensive lifestyles.
Making up the cast is music mogul Ayanda Ncwane who is best known as the widow of the late gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane. Apart from that she has an artist management company and is a mother of two.
Secondly is Nonku Williams who scored herself a major role in the show for being the founder of Ashes to Beauty Winery. The interesting figure is also into construction and is a mother of three.
Thirdly there is Kgomotso Ndungane who runs a triple threat company which caters for the rich and famous majoring in events equipment hiring, event creation and also a flower boutique.
The fourth member is Sorisha Naidoo, who is a businesswoman by day and also a deejay by night. She is also a familiar face as she is not new to reality tv. She was once the cast member of Divas in Johannesburg in 2016.
The fifth housewife who is an ex girlfriend to the former President Jacob Zuma, is non other than Nonkanyiso Conco.
They share a child together, perhaps the show will allow her to break away from the box that many have placed her in just for being the former President’s baby mama. She is also a businesswoman and a motivational speaker.
Lastly there is Ann-Toni Ludick who runs a dance agency aswell as an events company. Her agency does well as her dancers are always spotted in many of the major events held in Durban.
The Real Housewives of Johannesburg and Durban are based on popular American franchises such as the Real Housewives of Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, Orange County, Dallas, D.C, Miami, Potomac, Beverley Hills and more.
The very first episode of the season will premiere on the 29th of August and will air on 1Magic channel 103 at 7pm.
