It was announced earlier that Prophet Shepherd Bushiri will host a crossover prayer on the 31st of December 2020 at the Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
The Malawian government later said the event could no longer go ahead as planned due to Covid-19 related reasons.
A new venue has been sort for the New Year’s eve event. Bushiri confirmed this during a meeting he held recently.
Bushiri said live on tv that he has been instructed to announce that the crossover will be a miracle night thus it will be a miracle night crossover 2020 to 2021.
Since the announcement a number of his followers have been busy at Home Affairs sorting out their documents as they prepare to travel to Malawi.
A lot of South Africans and Bushiri’s followers all over have been posting videos online detailing their travelling plans.
For four years the giant FNB stadium in Johannesburg had been filled to the rafters with Bushiri’s followers, the first of its kind that the stadium has recorded.
The event was moved to Malawi’s capital Lilongwe after Bushiri and his wife Mary fled South Africa as they face charges of corruption, money laundering and fraud.
