It seems like Jub Jub is still suffering the severe scars from the time he got out of jail and many of his trusted people turning their backs on him.
The musician has been quite open about his journey after prison. At Dinner at Somizi’s he revealed that most people could not give him a chance at hiring him or even recording with him.
Thus he was pretty much alone, broke and rejected. He said artists who agreed to collaborate with him on his song ‘Ndikhokhele’ are the ones who gave him a second chance at making music.
He mentioned Dr Rebecca Malope whom he says would help him financially and Bishop Benjamin Dube who covered him under his wings and took on a father figure in his life.
Jub Jub took to Instagram where he posted about how people turned their backs on him when he needed them the most.
Fans told Jub Jub to take responsibility for his actions and accept that he did wrong to so many families and not everybody will forgive him just like that.
