Former South Africa President, Jacob Zuma, has denied that he received cash from the late Lybian Dictator, Muammar Gaddafi.

He was responding to Thobeka Madiba Zuma, who has filed divorce proceedings at the High Court.

Thobeka married Zuma in 2010 in a traditional ceremony, and is demanding R170 000 a month maintenance at the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

Thobeka is making the following allegations, all of which Zuma is denying :

1. Zuma received cash from the late Lybian Dictator – Muammar Gaddafi.

2. He returned from Eswatini with R 16  Million cash.

3. Zuma has secret cash stashed away at his home and in other places.

4. Zuma asked her to keep certain secrets, and that he had engaged in certain illegal conduct that he wants to keep hidden.

Zuma is offering Thobeka R20 000 a month maintenance and claims his only source of income is his R3 Million state pension.

Zuma says he has 10 Children and other dependents who cost him R30 000 a month.

He slammed Thobeka for going to the High Court when the case is still pending at the maintenance court and suggested that the divorce be handled using customary law.
