Former ANC MP, Dumisani Ximbi is stuck with a brocken down Posche Cayenne 4×4 after he was banned from entering the Posche Century City branch in Cape Town.
The Sunday Times reports that Ximbi banged tables and abused staff at the dealership after he was asked to pay R11 000 upfront for the car repairs.
Posche has also refused to sell parts for the car to be fixed by another service provider.
Ximbi has not been able to use the car since December 2019 when a coolant leak was detected during a routine service.
The Sunday Times reported that Ximbi has now taken the matter to the Ombudsman.
Ximbi said when he tried to discuss the matter with management at the dealership, he was blocked at the gate by a security guard who had a letter with instructions to not allow him onto the premises.
In their response to the Ombudsman, Posche said Ximbi accused staff of being r_acist and was often aggressive.
