The Star newspaper reports that a Limpopo widow has been denied permission to move the body of her late husband, who died 14 years ago, from a cemetery in Ga-Mothiba, Limpopo to a cemetery in Johannesburg.
A judge at the North Gauteng High Court, Pretoria, yesterday found that the woman, Manana Bogatsu secretly obtained permission from the Limpopo municipality to move the body of the late Isaac Maepa, without consulting his family.
The brother of the late Isaac, David Maepa, told the court that Manana was the secobd of his brother’ s three wives and she did not have the right to move the body from the family’s ancestral resting place.
On her part, Manana told the court that her husband is restless and he appears in her dreams asking to be brought home to Johannesburg.
