Refilwe Modiselle is the oldest of the Modiselle siblings and is a South African model. She is currently doing her best to help children living with albinism.
Refilwe felt the need to help because from personal experience she noticed the daily struggles of children with albinism starting with eyesight.
She asked people on Twitter and spectacle companies for spectacle donations.
Other celebrities like DJ Fresh responded to Refilwe’s cries and pledged five pairs to five kids. Refilwe wants kids with albinism not to miss out at school because of poor eyesight.
She said people should be understanding that nothing is different and people living with albinism shouldn’t be discriminated.
She also mentioned that skin tone should not define a race thus people should stop marginalising people living with albinism.
