Hamilton Ndlovu, the young SouthAfrican Millionaire who recklessly bought 5 luxury sports cars in May, triggered the PPE supply contracts investigation that has sucked in hundreds of politically connected companies across South Africa.
Implicated companies include that of President Cyril Ramaphosa ‘s spokeswoman, Khusela Diko’ s husband, who owns Royal Bhaca.
The Independent reports that Health MEC, Bandile Masuku, has told the Hawks that he requested all PPE contracts, including cancelled ones, after Ndlovu posted his 5 multi Million Rand cars on his social media.
At that time, it had been revealed that Hamilton Ndlovu was a friend of Gauteng Premier, David Makhura. Makhura denied the friendship at a press conference addressed by Masuku.
Hamilton Ndlovu was reportedly awarded a PPE supply tender worth R125 Million.
Ndlovu wrote a letter of apology after his video showing off the cars went viral.
