Jacob Zuma is the former President of South Africa who ruled the country from 2009 to 2018 when he was forced to resign.
He also served as the president of African National Congress (ANC). His presidency was controversial as it was associated with graft allegations.
He is known to be a polygamous man with several wives and over twenty children. He was born on 12 April 1942 in Inkandla in KwaZulu-Natal. His clan name is Msholozi.
Zuma did not get any formal education because of his background. His father was a policeman during World War two and he died when Zuma was still five years old.

In 1987 he was forced to leave Mozambique and relocated to Lusaka. During his presidency he was known for improvements in the health sector.
