Letoya Makhene is popularly known for her role as Tshidi Phakade on SABC 1’s soapie Generations the Legacy.
The actress in a relationship with a Johannesburg businesswoman Lebo Keswa. The love birds decided to move in together during this lockdown.
Letoya feared coming out of the closet as she was afraid of hurting her parents and children that she is now in love with a woman.
The sangoma took her time to announce her lesbian relationship because she was not sure how the public would react to her new relationship.
Her family however showed nothing but love for her as they decided to support her decision to be a lesbian.
Letoya was once married to a Zimbabwean man Priviledge Mengezi. She has four children, three boys and a girl.
