South African rapper Nasty C has signed a massive international record deal with American rapper Jay-Z’s prestigious entertainment company Roc Nation.
Shawn Carter aka Jay-Z founded the entertainment company Roc Nation in 2008. Nasty C will will join the likes of Beyonce, T.I, Big Sean, DJ Khaled, Mariah Carey, J. Cole, Rihanna and Alicia Keys who have associated acts with the company.
Billboard reported that the deal comes as a joint venture with Universal Music Africa.
The rapper took to his Twitter page to announce the development.
Nasty C marked his US debut with a new single ‘There They Go’. The song premiered on Apple Music Beats 1 on Thursday.
Other South African celebrities such as Maps Maponyane and Boity Thulo sent congratulatory messages to the rapper.
